Dear All Officers & Staff of Ranchi Zone Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out. A little progress each day adds up to big results. I am a great believer in luck, and I find the harder I work the more I have of it. We have entered in the New Year as well as last quarter of the financial year and newer challenges & milestones await us ahead. An organization is only as good as the quality of the individuals who comprise it. We all have our roles, and when we strive to excel in our assigned roles, the entire organization benefits. We, as team, will strive to achieve all challenges with improved performances in all spheres of work. GST requires deeper infusion of data analytics and technology in our work process. We need to enhance adoption of technology and utilize data analysis for targeted interventions. Further, our work is vitalized by the law and law is not merely the text. While law is essentially prescriptive and it’s express wording is meant to circumscribe our actions as administrators. We contribute significantly in making it a living embodiment by the manner in which we interpret and apply it keeping alive jurisprudence as shaped by judicial pronouncements. We must remember that likening tax collections with bees collecting honey from flowers or plucking geese from their feathers are nor mere similes but powerful symbols of our judicious mindsets. I take the opportunity of congratulating the officers of our Zone on successful completion of Rozgar Mela 3rd tranche as well as conduct of PST/PET for 5618 (highest all over India) for appointment of Havildars/MTS, recently which was totally new in nature. Keep up the good work My best wishes to all of you. |
